-The learner will be able to identify and explain the significance of various symbols of freedom and liberty.
-The learner will be able to reflect upon the varied experiences of women, Native Americans, and African slaves during the early Republic.
-The learner will be able to analyze and discuss important documents, both in the public and private sector that were important in shaping the early history of the Republic.
|The unit on the Early Republic will deal with events leading up to the American Revolution, to the creation of the US Constitution through the expansion of Republicanism at end of the 18th century.|
